I grew up with movies and books about aliens. They’re really everywhere when you start to think about it, and research. I did have a wonder while growing up… God didn’t say anything about aliens in the bible, and “it seems like an awful waste of space” a quote from Carl Sagan (seen in Contact) seemed so true…what if there were? But I read something today that solidified my thoughts to the contrary.
This page gives a great reasoning on why God did not create planets for aliens to inhabit. Though if you search the bible for aliens, you won’t find anything. If you read the first pages of the first book, you do. You find a reason to why God made everything (such as other planets). Which I find really interesting. Books are supposed to start with a line that draws you in.
The most important moment, the second coming of Christ and the coming of the anti-Christ will be happening, and when it does, if this theory is correct and these Nephilim (Demon/Human half breeds) are passing themselves off as aliens… the first lines in the bible contradict them!
“Genesis 1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.“
He then brings forth animals (which he gives Humans rule over)…
“Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.“
He gives reasons for why these things were made. When he made the universe/sun/moon/planets, he made them “be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years” and to “give light upon the earth” … “And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also”
He made everything and then gave humans rule over it. He lists everything he made, and his point was to give us rule over the land and the animals, etc. Since he was listing the purposes of all the things in the universe, and doesn’t get into any other planet being used for other animals, or beings and instead focuses on the ones we have, being used for telling seasons, passages of time, and light, it’s fairly obvious that He didn’t use other planets for other extraterrestrial beings.
He even talks about creating the angels:
“Psalm33:6 By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.”
But no where in the bible does it talk about him creating aliens.
From the link I referenced earlier:
“And here’s what The Bible does say is absolutely true, no conjecture required:
1. The only stated purpose of the stars is to give light to the Earth and to mark the seasons. (Gen 1:14-28)
2. Only the Earth is stated as “created to be inhabited”.
This is not said of any other planet, star, or heavenly body. (Isa 45:18)
3. The Bible states that God populated the heavens with angels (hosts of heaven), and angels are not biological entities. (Gen 2:1, Luke 2, 24)
Those are all true statements, and they are all sound doctrine. The Bible exhorts us to speak sound doctrine, even though in the latter times many people will not endure sound doctrine.”
